We are going back to meeting at our old home: the Executive Surf Club on Water and Williams Street the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm.

Bike Safety Campaign
STARRS members Dorian and Freddy Ramirez have started a Corpus bike safety campaign that includes "be kind to CyClists" bumper stickers.

Bikes, Beer, & Tamales

3rd annual Bay Area Bikes Jingle Bell Ride: Tuesday, December 14

Details

Start riding at 6:30 p.m. (staging from 6 to 6:30 p.m.) from Mt Olive Lutheran Church, corner of Long Meadow and Saratoga. Requirements: helmet, front light, and rear light. Beyond that you are free to decorate as you wish! Also, you are encouraged to donate to Bikes for Kids. With a $5 donation, BAB will provide you a goody bag.

 

After the ride, STARRS will host a party for all participants of the Christmas Ride. It's informal--cycling clothes are fine! STARRS will sponsor the party for all participants of the ride (STARRS and Non-STARRS). More information will be posted and emailed in the future.
